Ribbon Pillow - Cute!
Every year for Christmas I make each of our kids a home-made gift and they get to open it on Christmas Eve. I has been a fun tradition. This year I made it a goal to make all my homemade presents in October so that I'm not so stressed at Christmas (we have 10 kids together so it's a lot to hand-make and it stresses me out).
Anyway, I am always in search of new ideas for handmade items (I don't know how to sew, crochet or knit). I found this idea on www.familyfun. com and I thought you might be interested, too. Looks like a fun way to use extra ribbon! http://jas.familyfun.go.com/crafts?p...&craftid=12209

I too make my kids something every year for christmas... this year I am making monogrammed beanbag chairs for them... i think...

Thanks so much for sharing this! I may have to give this a whirl! I have a daughter who would love something like this in girly colors and for my 2 boys, I think I may have to do them each one in the Texas Longhorn colors! They are huge fans and both of their bedrooms are in UT! Thanks!!!

That's cute, but personally, I don't think I woud use ribbon-I would get some cozy fleece and cut into strips and weave like in the picture. I just don't think ribbon would be comfy-unless it's satin. We do the same thing for our babies-usually I do an ornament for them, that way when they're grown they will have a full tree of memories.
