Im gonna suggest again that any of you ladies that have the ct to try to go to a chiropractor... you never know what my help even without ins a chiro costs only around $30-60 for a visit....

my reg Dr had given me the hand brace to wear, with the addition of wear it if it doesnt get better you may need surgery... my chiro FIXED the problem.

Im glad that now any time I have that kind of pain/flare all I have to do is call a get Popped back in place...

of course I know this is not the case for everyone but why not explore your options?

I agree on the Ciro comments...I need to practice what I preach though...lol. I get tingling and numbness in my left wrist (left handed) and I pop my elbow, shoulder, and wrist in place and most times it fixes it...if not them I pop my back back in place...would be nice to go have a professional fix it.

You SO need to sell those! I would ask the nurse for their sales rep's (or suppliers) business card and at least send him a photo! You could be on to something big! I sure would buy it!

My mom's right hand gets numb and her fingers start tingling. She's gone to the dr and they want her to go see about surgery. I think I might steal her brace in the mean time and bling it up for her. Her co-workers will love it.

As for the Chiro.. Oh, they are great and everything, but its not always the answer. 2 years ago I had back pain and my dr wanted me to do the chiro and it was not helping. I had back pain in the lower back and would shoot pain down my left leg. After everyone saying that it was syatica, I finally got an MRI done. Dumb dumbs finally saw that I had a herniated disc in my lower back. Everything that they were having me do was making disc worse. Long story short, had to have back surgery and had a piece of my disc sitting on a nerve. All better now!

Chiro isn't always the answer. It is more effective than splinting can be for CTS, though. Surgery isn't always effective (like in my case) and it takes a long time to recover fully. So, you might want to give it a shot for a month or two to see if it helps. If nothing else, you know that you tried everything. Apparently it's pretty common to have the nerve compressed both in your wrist and your neck/back, so fixing the back problems could make the CTS be more tolerable or go away completely.
