Default pillowcase dress
Hey just wanted to let all the cheap-skates like me () know what I did!! Yesterday I was at the Goodwill (2nd time this week!!) and found these cool twin top sheets for $1.00 each. Im going to use them to make pillowcase dresses. I can get 2 out of the top of the sheet (it is already hemed!!) and I can get 2 from the bottom. You have to pay attention to the pattern of the sheet so it is not upside down. I will post pics of sheets!!!
This is CHEAP--TRY BUYING THAT MUCH FABRIC FOR $1!!!!!

Im getting ready to sew one up -I will post pics when done!!
Im making a dress, ruffle socks and a bow for our schools silent auction next week. I thought of even doing a bowquet in a flower pot for spring. I will have to see how much time my DD will let me have today!!

I LOVE SAVERS!!! We had those in Florida. I MISS it!! We used to go every Monday for the .99 day. Do they still do that?
I guess Ohio has a few Savers-Toledo. It is 3hrs from me!! Thanks for all the input!!!

Those are cute fabrics. No thrift shop near me. I think the closest one is like 45 minutes ago.

What a great find!!! I never go to the local thrift stores - no reason - I guess I just forget about them. A couple of coworkers meet and go about once a quarter on Mondays b/c it is like 1/2 off or something - I need to meet up with them the next time!
