Default Michael's tulle sucks, anybody else had this problem?

I bought two spools of 6" tulle at Michael's (Celebrate It brand). First roll had a selvage edge in it and it was only 5 inches wide in those areas; second roll had holes in the middle of the roll (which wasn't that big of a deal because I was cutting it for tutu anyways). So I used up the second roll, and exchanged the first roll. When I got home and started cutting it, I discovered that it too has the selvage edge, so I had to scrap about 8 feet of it, but carried on with my project. When I finished the tutu, I noticed that one half was nice and fluffy, and the other half was limp and bunching up. Then I looked closely and realized that the two rolls were totally different in texture, one was nice and stiff, and the other was a lot softer. Then I looked very close at the weave and that was different - one was more diamond shaped and the other was webby circles. Now I have to redo my tutu . Has anyone else had bad experience with Michael's tulle? Where do you buy your tulle?

Crazy! I buy mine at either JoAnn's, Hobby Lobby or Hancock's. And I have never had that problem! Sorry!

milestone occasions on ebay. great customer service, will find a color if they don't have it. I've bought over 20 times from them, never a problem with the tulle.

I buy my tulle from COD wholesale haven't had any trouble with it all of them have been firm except for brown it's really soft my customer don't mind because most of the customers who have picked this color use it for babies.the alternating colors keep it full

It is made in china, a lot of the tulle made in China is just as you described. I sell made in USA tulle and the tulle is consistent in quality and feel. www.angelbabestutus.com

I buy all my tulle from Papermart.com
Great prices, good color selection and fast shipping. I have used many many rolls from them and have never had one problem with any of them.
