Default E6000

I just made my first clippie (the heart one) and I used the E6000 for the first time. Man does it stink!! Does the stench ever dissipate? And I must admit I was stumped when I opened the package and there was a long nozzle included but no cap for the nozzle. I looked up their website and it said to recap with the original cap and just let the glue dry in the nozzle and then you can pull it out. Is that true? And that method seems to waste a lot of glue. Any better methods out there? I definitely will stick to hot glue and Fabri-tac when I can!

I had the same thoughts and problems with the E6000. Now I only use it to glue buttons down and I use Fabric-tac for everything else.

Has anyone ever tried GOOP? I was told to use that and nothing will budge once it dries. Any thoughts on it?

I didn't see where it said that you could pull the glue out of the nozzle. I just threw it away when I realized I didn't know how to clean it. I figured I'd just use a tooth pick or something to spread the glue next time I use it.

Ditch the nozzle and just squeeze some on a paper plate and use toothpick to spread or even a popsicle stick would do. The nozzle is useless!

I second that! I learned it the hard way with my first tube of E6000 .
