Hi, I am just getting started with making clippies. Can someone tell me the difference between single and double prong alligator clips. Is one better than the other? Thanks Amy

Just my opinion, but I prefer to use the single prong ones. They have worked well for all the clips I've made so I haven't tried the double prongs yet. There might be some designs that will be easier with a double prong however, so let's see what others have to say too! ![]() Best of luck! |

I think single prongs are better for small clippies, double for bigger clippies. I use double prong on my flower clips, and they stayed in my daughter's hair all day in the wind with no non-slip applied. I think they stay better in my hair, too. Double prong also works better for thicker ribbon, single for thin ribbon.
