Here is my newest obsession!
Chalk Board Travel Placemats

One side is a funky placemat, the other is a chalk board.

Made from vinyl laminated cotton fabric and chalk board oil cloth.Finished with bias tape and tied with ribbon.

My kids have been doodling fiends and we haven't even taken them out to dinner with them yet.

I hear you on that one!!

Thanks girls!

I got the chalk fabric from a local shop here- Haberman Fabric.
But I have seen it on Welcome to Nancy's Notions.

What do you guys think of a smaller version - like a 9x12 so it would fit on a high chair tray? Do you think people would use something like that?

Aren't they great. I have made dozens and dozens of them.
They are very popular and very handy and the kids love them.
Here is my version.

Laura, I would definately be interested in a 9x12 size.
My GD is still too wild not to be confined by a highchair.
