Default First Pillow Case Dress

I finally got the machine and made my first this evening. I thought it was going to be hard being that I have very little experience in sewing. But it was actually very simple. I cannot wait to make many more.

very cute!! is there a pattern online? i would love to make some too--but i am not good at doing the measuring thing! and i dont know if i could cut the arm holes even!

sarah--they are called pillowcase dress bc you make them out of pillowcases--i think this one is fabric--but i could be wrong.

they are really pretty if you can find some vintage pillowcases.

Rachel66, I love your idea of making these with vintage pillowcases! I enjoy going to auctions and have bought several - some with embroidery and/or crocheted edgings. They would make gorgeous pillowcase dresses!
