Need votes again - Peasant Dress

Just got pictures back from our October photoshoot and I need some opinions.

I would like to use one of these photos as the cover of a new pattern I am working on for peasant tops/dresses. This is the exact same dress on two different 3 year old models. Which photo do you like better?

A – Asian girl, taller, white tights
B – African American girl, shorter, black tights

PS. Because I know someone will ask, the dress and tights will be going up in my shop sometime this week as sample sales.

doesn't bother anyone that the dress is so short on the girl with the white tights?

Both of those models are super cute and I love the dress (As always, I LOVE and covet your sewing skills)! But, I like the first picture better because the floor looks more *finished* with the molding-in the other it looks like there is just a hanging sheet, KWIM? Also, I think it looks better with the white tights.

While I love pose 1, I voted for pose 2 because I do think the dress is a little short. If I was looking at the cover of a pattern to see what I would be making, I would think "gee, that's a short dress...more like a tunic "

I choose 2. It's longer more like a dress and i think the white tights take over the picture where as the black tights you focus more on the dress. Plus you can see the dress better with her hands down to her side IMO.

I'm torn! I love both pics but I think I agree that #2 shows the dress better.

I love the first pic as far as style but I think pic #2 to show off the dress.
