Well first sewing project really! I made this blanket for my daughter out of the dot minkee and some polka dot cordurory fabric, but I had a heck of a time with the minkee fabric!! Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to handle sewing it with the stretchiness of the material? I've seen so many cute projects with the minkee fabric, but I'm kinda scared now! Thanks!

I love it !!!! I love those colors and it looks so soft. I just called about sewing classes yesterday. I can sew a little. But want to do more.
