Cute blanket. All I can say about minkee is pin, pin pin. I put hoizontal pins, so I can fit more in. Oh, and have the vacuum cleaner handy for all the fluff

Hi there,
The blanket looks nice! I usually don't have too many problems sewing with one side minky and the other side cotton fabric if you pin a ton but minky on minky can be a nightmare!!! Something that helps me is putting a thin cotton liner in between the layers so that you are sewing on the cotton and not on the minky. HTH!

Haha, don't be scared, Jen! I just have no idea what I'm doing and had to keep trimming the minky cause it kept stretching..ugh! I've read something about using a stabalizer, but don't know anything about that..
