I think it looks good for the first few that you have done. Have you ever tried popiln? It 's another goog fabric to make totes with. It's a fav of mine to make my totes and diaper bages with.

Thanks - I just measured it and it is 14" width & 13" in length (excluding the straps). It is a pretty big bag. She loves big purses so I thought she would need a big tote. This is the biggest I have made so far. My sister wants a beach bag now so I planning on making an even larger tote now. Be sure to post your pics when your done - I would love to see it!!! They are so much fun to sew.

Thanks for the tip!!! No, I have not tried poplin yet but I am buying more fabric soon so I will definitely get some.
