I'm going to ask a really stupid question here. I have never sewn with a pattern. I LOVE to make dresses for dd, but I always make it up as I go. But, I'd like to get some patterns and try out some new ideas. So, here's the stupid question....what do patterns normally cost? Is this a great deal, and do I need to hurry over to Hobby Lobby before the sale ends?

Yes, I think its a good deal. I know at walmart you can get them for i think an every day price of 2.98 or something like that. But they can be as much as 10.00 I think. Anyone else know for sure? I just like stocking up when they have the 99 cent sale because you can only get 10 and you never know when you will need one.

Most patterns ( like McCall's, Butterick, Simplicity) cost between $10 and $15 or so.
So, I only get them when they go on sale....


Which HL are you going to Sarah?
I was just near the one in Lansing the other day and didn't get a chance to go in...

yes its a great deal they cost 5.97 or something 1/2 off at walmart.
I always wait for the .99 sale if I can. I do pay 3.48 for the new look ones at walmart because they are worth it lol they have like ALL the sizes and mostly indiviual pieces for each size no tracing woot! lol. I hit the HL sale today (i have one 10 minutes away from me) and got 4 patterns. one of those the shopping cart one , so Im excited to get to work on that. Kat
