You can make it any size you want. I know my measurements & I can't afford the amount of fabric it would take to go around my DD's. LOL. Just measure around your bust (or your hips, or whatever your widest part is that the top will be on) and add some inches for seam allowances and for ease, etc. Then measure how long you want it to be - measure from your shoulder to where you want it to hit, add a couple of inches for the top casing and the bottom hem. Then measure from your shoulder to your armpit and that's how deep you cut the arms. Then do the rest the same as a little girl dress.
