You can make smaller versions of any bows with it...boutique, twisted boutique, pinwheel. Or you can make layered bows and use that as the top layer. Or you can make the bow with 2 pieces of ribbon...

I have never done it myself, so I can only guess. I think I would glue it on (maybe with e6000?), then sew it too. It seems unlikely that the glue and the stitches would both fail.

I answered other because I spray them, then bake them. I use heavy starch to spray them. (the same stuff to iron your clothes)

I use regular old heavy spray starch; the same stuff I use to iron clothes. I have never had a staining problem with it. It is very economical, and I have to buy it anyway because I iron so much....
