Re: Newest Etsy shops getting most business??

I don't think relisting helps like it used to. I never relist anymore unless it's the auto relist when something sells. I've found that since I've been working on my tags, title and description my...

Re: Newest Etsy shops getting most business??

It could be that they are working on SEO so they are being seen. Many of the older shops were optimized to how etsy used to do searches. That all changed recently so if you haven't kept up with that...

I use cut away stabilizer on knit shirts. Hoop the stabilizer, spray with adhesive and stick the shirt to it then baste or pin in place. Make sure your stabilizer is tight but don't stretch the shirt...

Re: My Etsy store is now open.

Looks great. I agree that you need more items. The more items you have listed the more you will show up in searches. I would suggest getting at least one example photo of the bows being worn and...

Re: Selling Funk

If you want to be successful selling on etsy then you need to get way more items into your shop. The chance of someone finding your shop with only 4 items in it is pretty low with the number of shops...

Re: removing embroidery?

I don't use tear away on anything except in the hoop projects. Whenever I do shirts I use a cut away. With the tear away your machine is making holes and it is actually perforating the shirt away...

Re: What brand of Tshirt Blanks do you use?

I started out using Rabbit Skins shirts and found that they are cut wide and short. They also shrink. Now I use only Kavio brand shirts and I've never had any complaints. I love the variety of styles...

Re: Cover?

You have to make sure that your iron is hot enough, use a cover cloth and leave your iron on each section for about 10 seconds. I know some of the ones on my kids shirts peel off but by that point...

Re: removing embroidery?

Re: What if I don't want to list a shipping cost...

This isn't true. If you have set your prices with xxx per each additional item then etsy will automatically combine the shipping. They will take the item with the highest shipping cost as the base...
