~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
for those that used the gator bite can you tell me if you can use thread or floss to tie the center instead of ribbon like the video shows? I tried the sally's clip w/ fhread but it keeps breaking and when I try it w/ floss it keeps moving and so I can't get a tight knot. I'm tempted to buy this gator bite to see if it helps me. Would I use this if I already have TOTTS? What about their instructions?
TIA,
Mel
I use upholstery thread. I can pull it really tight and it rarely snaps.
I just use the really skinny white thread, and I put a dab of glue on the knot so it will stay tight while I do a double knot. Then it wont come apart
I use 2 strands of DMC floss. I tried elastic thread but it kept breaking.
