Default Anyone ever try Judikins Fluxe Enameling Resin?

I just saw this product and was wondering if anyone has ever tried it.

Judikins Fluxe Enameling Resin
http://www.createforless.com/Judikin...pid165883.aspx

I use two part doming resin on my bottle caps, but I was just curious how this works.

Thanks!

I have never tried it, but would be interested to see if it really works. I have a love hate relationship with Etec lite.

I've never even heard of it......Most of the problems that I have run into with resins that don't mixed is yellowing over time. I have never had that issue with ET lite, so I will just stick with my tried and true!

Positive review here, but I can't tell from the photo if it "domes" like other products.

Idk about the one you are talking about, but I've heard awesome things about DG3. You can buy it here:

http://ooakartistemporium.com/Adhesives.html

And check out what she made with it and some "fairy flitter" here:

(look at the faux opal cabochons)

I've bought from her many times and am in a couple yahoo groups with her too. We've discussed the DG3 in our yahoo groups, and it does dome really well. It's a favorite for adding dimension. Just thought you might be interested in that.

Found out the Judikins Fluxe is really thin, so it will not work on top of bottle caps.

I am sticking with my two part doming resin. I don't think there will ever be a pre-mixed resin that will give the results I get now. It was worth a shot though

if u look closely and enlarge the pic u will see bubbles in the resin on the bottle caps. for that reason i myself wouldnt get it.

True, but she did two separate tests, and the bubbles only appeared in one of them:

I used Liquid Laminate to glue the star down, and sadly it left bubbles.

To make sure the bell piece didn’t bubble, I didn’t use an adhesive at all- I just squirted a layer of Fluxe over it and let it melt. No bubbles!

The fact that it is very thin and does not dome might be more of an issue for bottle caps -- thanks for sharing your test results, ScrappyJill!
