I believe it's a CD rom and then you also get invited to a private forum. Haven't gotten mine yet...hopefully soon, it should be in the mail.

Yes, you instantly have access to the forum and the instructions will be there. Then they send you a CD in the mail.

I'm not sure...I've never been a fan of the elastic...it just doesn't work for me...I sew with my gator bite!!
