Default What is a great camera?

I think my camera has died. It was a Fugi Film Finepix S 5200.
What kind of camera do you recommend? I will use my camera for my business and photos of my kids. I just need to know what kind to look for. Thanks

I have a Nikon D3100 that I absolutely love. I wish I knew how to use half its' features! I'm still learning but it takes amazing pics. It was pricey but worth it and you can find them on sale with extra lenses, etc. I think the Canon EOS Rebels are really great too.

I use a Canon digital rebel xt, and love it! I'm currently looking to add a new lense, and would love advice on what would be great for headshots.

I like Nikons D5000. Its dropped to less than $500 with lenses, stand, case and sd card....

I love the versatility of product pics ( upclose) and my kids on the go.

I have to reccomend my new baby, the samsung nx100! it's halfway between a point and shoot and a DSLR! You can fiddle with the manual mode when taking product shots and then use the "smart" settings for on the go family shots.

I would recommend the 85 1.8. One of my favorite lenses, and definitely great for headshots.
