I've been using Surebonder all purpose glue sticks and am having good luck. You need to be quick with getting your ribbon in place. Use the tip of your gun to spread the glue out and quickly press the ribbon on it. I don't have lumps as long as you spread it out good.

I didn't have great sucess with E600 and it is smelly!

I use Adhesive Tech Ultimate glue sticks. I get them at Michael's with the 40% coupon.

I use an adtech glue gun with surebonder glue sticks. Mine is a cordless dual temp. I only use the high though.

My surebond ones didn't stick very well. I am going to go to michaels and get the other brand.

With the fabric-tac the only thing that seems to hold is if you get ribbon to ribbon contact. I also dislike the glue gun. I still have a hard time with the bumps, sometimes I have none and sometimes I find myself ripping the ribbon off and doing over. I've bought a few different one's.

I've been using the E6000. It does get kind of stinky, but I've using an old paintbrush to thinly put the glue on. The only thing with the E6000 is drying time, but they look so nice! Good luck!

What I do is put the glue on the ribbon little bits at a time and mash down on the clip. I dont think I could work fast enough to put the glue on the clip. lol I do approximately enough glue on the ribbon to go under the top and then work each side same way. I dont have any bumps and use hot glue.

Uh-oh...I use Fabri-Tac but I've never had this problem. Now I'm worried about all those clippies I've made using it...

I am clueless and never heard of E6000 what excatly is it? But to answer the girls questions I line my clips with the glue gun
