I use Adhesive Tech Ultimate glue sticks. I get them at Michael's with the 40% coupon.

That's the exact same way I do it too.

I use an adtech glue gun with surebonder glue sticks. Mine is a cordless dual temp. I only use the high though.

My surebond ones didn't stick very well. I am going to go to michaels and get the other brand.

With the fabric-tac the only thing that seems to hold is if you get ribbon to ribbon contact. I also dislike the glue gun. I still have a hard time with the bumps, sometimes I have none and sometimes I find myself ripping the ribbon off and doing over. I've bought a few different one's.

I've been using the E6000. It does get kind of stinky, but I've using an old paintbrush to thinly put the glue on. The only thing with the E6000 is drying time, but they look so nice! Good luck!

What I do is put the glue on the ribbon little bits at a time and mash down on the clip. I dont think I could work fast enough to put the glue on the clip. lol I do approximately enough glue on the ribbon to go under the top and then work each side same way. I dont have any bumps and use hot glue.

Uh-oh...I use Fabri-Tac but I've never had this problem. Now I'm worried about all those clippies I've made using it...

I use Beacon's 3-in-1 Craft Glue. I love it! It is clear, has an instant grab, and dries fast.
I have a pretty good method for lining clips too. It's kinda hard to explain and have it make sense to everyone, but it works great.

When I first started I had problems with bumps too. I was using a low temp gun because I thought it would be easier to spread the glue...it's not! It dries too fast and then you get bumps. What I use now is high temp (haven't found it matters too much what brand of glue), and as you put the glue on the clip use the tip of the gun to spread it out and thin. Since it is high temp it won't dry too fast and you can press it out with your fingers when you lay the ribbon down on the clip. I find this is really the best/easiest way to do it. I don't get any bumps, and none have ever came apart off the clip. HTH
