Default aleenes glue gun

i recently puchased one and i am have the hardest time changing the tips out its hot enough cuz i burnt my self and i still cant take it off any suggestions???

someone said they had to use a wrench or some type of tool to twist it off the first time. after that she said it was easy....

Yeah I was gonna say try using some needle nose pliers or something to twist it off. That way it doesn't matter how hot it is!

I'm tried of sucky glue guns and my Michaels doesn't have this in stock can I ask where you got it? Does Joann's usually carry it in store? Or hobby lobby? I may need to make a trip real soon.

I just use the little wrench that came with it. I've never had any trouble and I change it when it's cooled. Side note: it's the best glue gun I have ever owned, love it!

You most likely have to use a wrench or pliers the first time. I did on both of mine (I have had two of these). I am pretty sure it says to not change it while the unit is cool though or it could ruin it somehow. Just read the instructions first. I remember holding it and my husband turning the tip with some kind of tool. It is normal for this gun. Good luck!!

Yes you are very much right the same problem problem i am facing with the glue gun. It is not so good that was described by the company .
