Default Sizzix question

I have a big kick and am trying to cut poly silk. I am using a spellbinder die. According to what I have read it should cut, but it wont! I really need this to work, any suggestions??

I have a problem with mine cutting silky fabrics as well. I do better with one layer instead of multi layers but sometimes my shape is distorted a little. ex: a circle will be more of an oval etc. since I am cutting for singed flowers, no biggie but a little aggravating. I'll be interested if anyone has other suggestions as well.

I was wrong, I was using the sizzix circles die. Spellbinders doesn't work for me on silky either. I think the black foam helps hold the fabric steady.

Have you tried a spray starch? I have heard it helps with die cuts on fabric.
