HIGH temp or LOW temp glue gun?!?

I am not too sure if i have a High or Low temperature glue gun....
BUT, it is definately NOT working well....
coz the ribbon that i attached to the snap clip came off upon 1 week of rough handling.... *sad*
IT says 40w on the gun....
can anyone help me with this>!?

awww Irene... sorry to hear about your glue gun. Doesn't it says on the thingy (wrap--i'm at lost..lol) whether or not it's a high or low temp? aha! Packaging is the thingy i'm thinkin' off...lol...

What about glue? like Fabric-Tac and the E6000? Can u get it in S'pore?

Cynthia: I was too excited about starting.... I yank out the wrapper and dun it away..... I dun think we have fabric-tac or E6000 in singapore.... sigh.....

i got a new hot glue gun ytd....
it does not work too!!

hmm.... If i am using a HOT glue gun...
Do i have to wait for 24 hours before using the ribbon lined snap clips?!?
I wonder if this is what i have been doing wrongly??

COz after lining the snap clip with ribbons,
I will do the bow the knot...
then glue the bow on the clip...
and put it on my daughter's hair....

TOO ANXIOUS!!

with hot glue, you shoudl be able to wear the bow pretty much right away

Yep, I have been known to 'glue-n-go' before . You should not have to wait. I have noticed that the room temperature and humidity effects the glues adhesion a bit but for me not to the point where it does not stick.

Well I was trying to get away without using glue gun today. I had bought some new Aleene's flexible stretchable fabric glue. Ribbon would not stick. ;o(

Any idea what I can use it for???? Thanks.

oh dear Cathy.. I for one, don't know what else you could use it for. Funny, i was at Michael's yesterday after a family movie day outing (went to the Theather to watch Ironman..so darn funny movie..lol) and i saw that particular glue you mentioned.

Anyways, would it stick 2 ribbons together? If it does, maybe you could still use it for fusing/layered bows in lieu of Fabric-Tac. ?
