I do know that the cricket is not good for cutting felt, not sure about the sizzix? The big shot can do up to 3 layers at a time so it's good for cranking them out!

Talking Re: Big Shot ON SALE

Hi everyone. I am VERY new here (1st post/response).

I have been drooling over the neat die machines out thre now.

I have seen the big shot in action at a craft show, and I saw the sizzix cutting paper at a show as well. I have not sen any of the others in action.

I do a lot with provocraft things (looms) and I saw the cuttlebug and cuttlekids machine on their website. How does this compare to the big shot?

I also saw a slice demo on youtube.

All things in general which one is the best to use? Price is a big factor for me along with the ease of use. I am disabled and legally blind to boot.

Are they worth it? Do you guys that have them use them enough for it to be a profit?

Thank you all so much for any information. As soon as I get used to this I will try to start a new thread asking these questions in an area where it might be more appropriate.

I own the Sizzix BigKick. It is similar to the Big Shot. I spent $50 for it. I love its versatility. I have used Cuttlebug Dies from Provocraft in it and it works like a charm.

Hope that helps!
