I use a large floor tile for my work area and use a gloss bathtub tile to rest the glue gun on. After I am done gluing, I rinse the tile off with hot water and glue comes off, work area looks nice and clean.

Looks interesting. I wonder if its hard to work on fine detail with those things on your fingers. Wow, I guess I am lucky, my glue gun never leaks! I've had it forever and its my fav!

I've had the pad for years and it's great. The cooled glue just peels right off. I wonder about the finger pads also. How easy would they be to work with on your fingers?

I don't know about the finger pads either....the mat is cute though! I just bought one probably about a month ago at Joann's with a coupon. I think it ended up being about $3-$4. Before that I was using a little piece of cardboard that just wasn't cutting it anymore
