Question Cutting fabric.....another question

I hear lots of talk about sizzix and circut to cut felt and fabric shapes. Is there anything that cuts long strips of fabric? anywhere from 2inch to 5?

The easiest way to do this is to use a rotary cutter.

I feel ya, I am sure you are needing it for ruffles! I cut so many ruffle strips. I do it all by hand as well. However I do just use my acrylic ruler and what ever the ruffle length is I divide it by two and cut on the fold that way less measuring and cutting ect. Sorry I am rambling not even sure that what you need it for....anyhow there ya go....LOL

I suggest getting a rotary cutter and a slef healing mat and do it that way. I cut the majoirty of my stuff that way and it really cuts the time down!

I almost got this for quilting http://www.allbrands.com/products/abp23703.html . Only thing is it wastes a lot of fabric. Just as easy to cut strips using a rotary cutter. Half the time I just snip and rip the fabric. Quick, easy, and the slightly frayed end ends up going into a seams. Though this does not work with all fabrics.

I checked it out and it looked like I could get some use out of it....but it's not jumping out at me too much. I have a rotary cutter and I hate it. Just wish I had a table with groves like the fabric stores.....

Anymore ideas....products? ect.....?

There is the Simplicity Rotary Cutting Machine. I have one but will admit it hasn't made it out of the box yet
