I hand crease mine. I tried the Sally clip and it just takes too much time.

I use the gator bite when I am making tons of simple, pinwheel-type bows. It helps me go a lot faster.

I do what Lorraine described when tying/creasing boutiqe bows.

I tried the Sally's clip, but it didn't hold well enough for me.

I do everything by hand, sometimes I'll use an alligator clip.

I found clips at the dollar store (pack of 4 for a buck) and they're similar to the Sally's ones. I use it all the time. It doesn't always keep a tight grip on the bow , but if I feed it in far enough it holds enough for me to tie it off. I haven't really had any problems with it and it helps me a lot. I might not get "perfect" creases, but it does a pretty good job!

I always do it by hand ... well, right thumbnail actually, lol. Since it's my bow nail it never gets bitten like the rest of my nails. (bad habit, I know...)

I sew them, but maybe I do it differently. I scrunch and crease the center while it is still on the needle. Then pull the thread through, wrap it a few times and knot off. I make approximately three "hills" with two "valleys", (as someone else mentioned) and more if it's a larger bow, but it works beautifully!

Yes, the Gator Bite is $$$, but I'd buy another one in a heartbeat! I was going through some old bows from last year that I did by hand before I had my bite and OMG they were SOOOO ugly. It has made a HUGE difference and made my life much easier I haven't tried the Sally's route so can't compare how strong those hold compared to my bite.

I do the needle and thread mentioned before on most bows, on the pin wheel I use the sally clip, it works really well for me!

Sally clip - 4 for $2 - I'm not spending that when I was born with two sally clips on the ends of my hands!

I use the sally clip because I was born with 2 left hands (thanks to my parents) so I need all of the help I can get
