I was just wondering which I should use. I read in some instructions I have to use a low temp glue gun. does it matter? and will a high temp glue gun hold better?

I use a high temp glue gun and high temp glue sticks. The high temp does hold better.

High Temp., definitely. Low temp doesn't really hold. I hv some clippies that i made last year w/ low temp and 'em all came off.

I use high as well. I've burnt my fingers more times than I care to think about. I've had the hot glue go under my finger nail and get stuck causing it to burn the nail bed. talk about pain.

bahhhh wussies... LOL J/K

you can toughen up your hands by dunking them in water as hot as you can stand.... doesnt do anything for your manicure tho...like in the old days of handwashing dishes

anyway... just tryin to help

I really was just kidding about the wussie part...

done this too. One of my jobs before kids involved a glue gun on a daily basis. I was considered the clumsy one *lol*

I only use low and haven't had a problem, but I do tend to reinforce with stitching and E6000 for delicate or tiny items.
