I've used both. Started with hot but must have had a cheap glue gun cause the glue would just "run" all the time...a lot was wasted. I then bought a low temp and no run and haven't had a problem at all with sticking.

I use low temp it dries faster and does not burn the mess out of your fingers I have never had a problem wit it

high temp for sure.

the low temp wasn't good for me. i noticed a huge difference when i switched to high.

i really like my alene's glue gun

I use high temp. With low temp, it was way too easy to peel things off. Of course, now with high temp, I can also peel my skin off too :P
