Default Pinwheels as a base bow?

I was just curious how many of you use a pinwheel for the base on a stacked boutique bow. I have been using twisteds and turning them upside down for the base but i'm finding more and more that people like them but say they stick out too far. Especially like on a baby when u attatch it to the headband.

I use a large pinwheel as my base bow on stacked bows and have never had a complaint

I use the pinwheel too, always have - for that reason. The two stacked boutiques is too much height for my girl's heads.

Here's a great tutorial that shows you how to make a template. Perfect pinwheels every time.

Thanks for the template link

Shoot if Mrs Coleman uses pinwheel for her awesome bows I may be converted . Boutiques can act funky on the bottom

Hey thanks I will def. try that one. I actually have the TNT templates and have tried to do the pinwheel on them but they wrap theirs a little differently and its too wide to fit in my gator bite. I bet this will work!
