I order from ebay a lot lot lot cheaper than Hobby Lobby at 50% off. Try there.

I found them to be much flimsier than Sally's clips.

As already said, they are super expensive. You can get really cheap price wholesale or through group buys

For example, my single prongs are $0.42/dozen and my 60mm french barrettes are $.60/dozen

I only use them when i'm in a bind as well, and Sallys has been having 3 different styles of alli clips lately or atleast mine has i dont like one type to me they dont hold as well in hair. I ended up ordering online
