Default Nylon headbands?

I had a request for nylon headbands (the type made with the pantyhose). I've never made or sold them before, because I didn't like that they snagged so easily. I saw a post that pookilicious has some for sale that are a little different. I'm very interested in purchasing some of hers. I was wondering if anyone has switched from using the regular ones made with nylons to the type that pookilicious sells? Have you customers been happy with the switch or even noticed a difference in material? Is the feel/texture the same? Thanks for the any help!

Thanks for responding! Do you add a ribbon loop or do the sewing method to make them interchangeable? Curious if you used to use the regular nylon stocking type headbands? If so, do your customers like these new ones just as well?

Ok, thanks. I think I will try these. I've only ever offered the crochet headbands, because I didn't care for the FOE and I thought the regular nylon pantyhose ones snagged too easily.

I haven't used Pookilious' nylon headbands - but have made (and used) the panythose type nylon ones. I used TessieLou's tut on sewing them to make them interchangable. Honestly, I thought I would hate them becuase they would snag too easily - but I ended up loving them. I used them daily with my twins from the time they were born until they started pulling things off their heads. They didn't snag anywhere near as much as I expected - and I liked them because they fit my girls teeny tiny heads well.
Anyway, just thought I'd give you my review of the nylons.

I got a sample from Kim who sells the nylon ones and I was pretty happy with them as well. I'm ordering some from Pookilious. I like to offer a variety. You could always contact Kim and ask for a sample of the nylon one. She sent mine out right away.

Thanks for the input. Maybe I will try some of each. I really don't want to have to make them, probably why I have always used crochet headbands. I figured that is why people like the regular nylon hose type headbands, since they are pretty stretchy, and soft for babies.
