I love my wood burner too! I tried using a lighter one time with NO luck! I have never been a smoker, so I am not very good with lighters! The wood burner is a great investment!

I just bought one at Michael's today for $8.99 w/40% off. It did not come with any other tips though. Do I need those too? It just has a rounded tip on it.

I just bought a wood burner Saturday...I'm still haven't used it. I know this is a ridiculous question, but do you use templates to cut shapes or just free hand it? Also, what are you using to hold the ribbon anything other than your fingers?

I just free hand it. Some people use a metal ruler for straight line. I also just hold the ribbon with my fingers---sometimes it ends up to be painful.

I was wondering if you all just "cut/burn" the ribbon once & are done OR do you go back over that edge to make sure it is sealed. I go back over mine because I tend to obsess over little things---do I need to do this? Does the initial "cut" do enough to stop fraying?
