The wood burner is worth the money. I also use a piece of glass under my ribbon.

I purchased the glass mat off of HSN, I seen some one on here mention it and I love it. I moved my self healing mat and now just use the glass one. The one from HSN is the only one I can find that actually has the measurements marked (1,2,3, etc. inch) The ones at hobby lobby and michaels are the same size, and have a grid, but no numbers to go by.

I'm loving my wood burner, but am still trying to get used to it. I tried to make an Easter egg basket, and my eggs look scrambled! Once I can figure it out though I am sure it will be great.

I was in Walmart today and found one for $9.97! I was so excited because I have been wanting one but did not want to spend $20+ on one.

either cut the corker pieces to size then seal ends individually or use the long thin pointy tip and spread the korked ribbon between your fingers an then cut ribbon with tip this will seal an cut the ribbon at the same time.
