Default Olfa circle cutter review

Hi ladies

So a while back I bought the olfa circle cutter and for the first couple uses it was awsome. I tried to use it today and it would barely cut anything at all, even on super thin organza .

When it did cut something it would not cut all the way

Im so dissappointed

I've had mine for months and up until this week I LOVED it.. I think I need a new blade. Wish I knew how to sharpen it.

I was cutting two squares at at time and it worked great. Do you think maybe the blade is dull?

the blade is pretty much brand new because I only cut out like 10 circles total.

now it barely cuts anything . I thought this was going to be an amazing tool now it looks like a dud to me.

Are you pushing down when you cut? Mine doesn't cut good anymore so I'm sure mine is the blade. Do you go a couple times around when doing the circle? I usually go a few times to make sure it cuts everything.

yeah Im pushing down, I tried to go around a few times and it still sucks.

I think I might try to get it replaced or something because it shouldnt be this bad being barely used.

What a coincidence. I just used it today for the second time and cute bout 350 circles! I get really lazy so I always cut at least 2 layers at a time. Towards the end, I was getting so bored, I started cutting 4-6 layers at a time. I noticed at the end, it just wasn't cutting well (even when I tried single layers). Mine probably just got dull. However, this was after about 800 circles with one blade. If you barely used it and are having problems, I would say you probably got a dud! I'd ask for an exchange.

Sweetietie.. how are your hats selling?? Mine have slowed down but I haven't been pushing them or been to any shows lately either. I've sold about 4-5 on Esty. Have you tried cutting tiny circles to make flowers? They are SO cute. You should try them!

I love my cutter. Ive cut literally hundreds of circles with mine without a problem. I finally just bought a new blade and man I thought it was easy before, but its easy peazy now since I got a new blade. Wouldn't trade it for the world.
