Where can I get the tape at I would love to give it a try. I am not happy with the hot glue.

Sorry to hijack this thread, but for those of you that are using the Specialty Tape, have you noticed the strong smell? I am wondering if the smell eventually goes away? I don't want little girls to stink because they are wearing my bows!

As far as using the tape... I really like it and it goes much faster than the glue gun. I'm not so crazy about the fact that for me it just doesn't seem to hold as well as hot glue. Guess I could be doing something wrong... Who knows.

I don't think I have noticed a strong smell with it...

I did notice a strong smell (not sure if it was Speciality Tape), but I did buy here on HG. I decided not to use it for this reason. I am just really sensitive to smell, same with the E6000 for me...hardly use it. I did not notice a strong smell with Shealah Tape...which is what I use to layer ribbon, though it is very pricey.

Mine was a little stinky at first, but after letting is sit out while I was lining clips for a few days, it doesn't smell anymore.

Does anyone know if there's a place to get Specialty Tape in Canada? I'd reallly like to try it, and don't want to wait for it to get here from the States.

I think Michaels here has Terrifically Tacky tape, does that work as well?

I don't know if there's anyone in Canada that sells or not but Terrifically Tacky Tape does NOT work nearly as well!! I was using it for a little while but quickly stopped- lifted pretty quickly no matter what I did. But I haven't had any problems at all with either Sealah or Specialty tape- love them both!!
And I'm not sure about the Specialty tape when it's just opened but I just checked mine that I've had opened for a while and it has no smell at all.

I also just started using double sided tape and love it! I thought that it wan't going to stick and i would have to go back and do all of them with glue but after a while they held up.

I have only ever used hot glue, I don't know why but glue just always seemed more professional or something to me..

I have seen some done with the tape and it looked great, but I have also seen some that didn't hold and the bow or flower just fell off...

I guess it just depends
