Default feel like a moron, but need help w/ my glue gun!

I recently bought an Aleen's glue gun with the interchangable tips and I can't figure out how to get the tip that came on it off. The directions say to use the wrench thing when it is hot. I turn and turn but it won't come off. UUUUUGGGGGHHHH.

We had the same problem, and my daughter looked this up under Google, "how to take off tip on Aleene's Glue Gun." She used a 9/16 wrench to hold the bottom as you turn top off with the Aleene's wrench. We were ready to return. Try this, we love it now.

I had to do that too. My husband's strength was much needed! I never use anything but the pointy nozzle. I LOVE it!
