Default Bake and Starch!! YAY!

I've been baking or starching, but not baking and then starching. Why the heck wasn't I baking AND starching. I love it! My bows look awesome and stay looking awesome!
I've also been using felt as a no slip, and just ran out of felt. So I went to shelf liner...why did I wait on that too?!!

Thanks to hip girls I'm now a baking and starching, shelf lining kinda girl!

After you make your bow but before you attach it to the clip- Starch it and bake. I [email protected] 225 for 20-25 minutes. Some may do it diffrently. Just make sure its before you use hot glue on the bow. I learned that the hard way... I had melted hot glue all over my bow... I know, I still feel stupid. Should have used common sense...

Been there done that! Mine was on the clip & everything LMBO.

Rachie, does 225 work for korkers too? I'm so frustrated with the polka dots discoloring when I bake them on the darker colors

Ive been doing mine @275 for around 25 mintes. Ive seen where other people had problems with dots. My problem with korkers is making the actual bow. Mine never looks as good as some of these ladies and I dont have a clue what Im doing wrong. Its like top-secret information around here when you ask about korkers. Maybe practice will make perfect...

I use about 30 2 1/2 inch strands for korkers. I then hot glue them to each other. I have tried every other way and they look horrible. Hot gluing them, they come out really cute. I then spray them with stiff n stuff. I bake them on 250 at 30 min. Cant help with the dots, mine do the same. I hope this helps.
