Default Ribbon Rose

Ladies - For those of you that have bought the instructions, can you tell me if it's easy or hard to learn? Does it use glue or sewing? I love the way they look but the price is the only thing stopping me. Also, I've tried making some flowers before and the only problem I've had is the back seems to stick up a little bit (sort of like the stem of the flower) and I'm wondering if that will be the same problem with the instructions? Will I be able to make a rose and then glue it to a clip and sell it like that? Or will it stick up too high? Thanks for the input ladies. I love the work she does but just wanted to clear up some questions I had before I convince myself to buy it.

I love my rose instructions. They are sewn, but no big deal and the bottom sits flat and go on clippied nicely.

Oh thanks so much for your kind words and for posting the link, Amylynn, Murolyushka and Cynthia.

If you were asking about my ribbon rose, yes, I can confirm it has a flat base so you can attach to a clip easily and it requires a very simple sewing. FYI, my DH was my first tester and he did it.

I also loveeee that rose, I've been looking/admiring at it for such a long time but the price is also stopping me for buying it. I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it. Great work though, well, everything she does is gorgeous.

I am sorry guys about the price, but actually it's not a single tut. It's combination of a few versions of the ribbon rose with tons of pictures and you learn different designs. And as a bonus, there are many photos for ideas you can use in your own hair bows- hair clip design. You learn to make leaves - several types, how to make two colours rose and my best selling rose bow too. I could have easily broken it up into 3 different tuts :-)

However you still can learn it for free. There is a link in the private room for senior members to a video of the rose fold I made in a very early stage. I must say it's not so good and in the book I'd made some changes to make it better, but the principal is the same. Quite a few HGs got to make that rose with the video without having to buy the ebook.

HTH :-)

Lynn
