Don't be sorry, we all know how hard and how much work/time is to make a tutorial and I'm sure you took all that in consideration when you price it.

I bought the instuctions, it is not just a rose, there are tons of flowers, some of which I dont feel confident trying at this point!

But the rose directions look very easy to follow, because a sudden increase in custom orders and all my school work I have not had the opportunity to try them yet. I will try them over the holiday break from school though.

In the pictures I have seen they are attached to clips so I think they would sell fine like that. I had some felt roses the I just attached to clips a while ago and they sold really well for me on etsy.

You learn to make leaves - several types, how to make two colours rose and my best selling rose bow too. I could have easily broken it up into 3 different tuts :-)

However you still can learn it for free. There is a link in the private room for senior members to a video of the rose fold I made in a very early stage. I must say it's not so good and in the book I'd made some changes to make it better, but the principal is the same. Quite a few HGs got to make that rose with the video without having to buy the ebook.

HTH :-)

I did not realize it was more than just one. Sorry!

I love the roses. When you are just getting started making them how long did it take you to make a rose?

My first rose took me about 40 minutes. Now I can make a rose from start to finish in about 3 minutes. Here's a pic of a couple of bows with roses that I made recently. I think the tut is worth the price, sewing is very basic. Finished roses are flat on the bottom, and can be placed on a clip easily.

Before I post mine , I have to admit that I didn't immediately make one soon after purchase. I bought it because it's, Lynn's!..lol... I think I purchased when she first offered it for sale at Etsy over a year ago, Lynn?

Anyways, my first try, I think it was on Tuesday night (this week). I ended up trashing mine...completed it but not satisfied.

Note to self, when you get frustrated on a project, walk away and make something else...lol.... Kim, posting your rose sample again..

My 2nd try (the next day ), attached pic is the rose:
