It takes a little practice, but once you get it, it's a piece of cake. The trick is to make sure the back stays in a horizontal line (one ribbon over the other), while moving the front part into a nice wide "x" (follow the ebook for the placing of your fingers, and what the "x" should look like. As you can see it shows you good ones, bad ones, and pics for troubleshooting). Then, when you first finish sewing it, it will not
look good! This is normal
. It's all about the shaping! Pull and push those loops into the proper placing, starch (if you want - I do) to hold the shape, and you're good to go! Just keep playing it!
