Default Micro Stitch tool

I wanted to share a tool that I've been using to help me make bows. It is called the Micro Stitch and I use it to tack my ribbon together while using the brilliant bow maker basic template. I found that tacking the ribbon together with thread was taking too long and I didn't like the idea of using a stapler. The micro stich puts a little plastic tag through the ribbon and when I gather the bow the tacks don't show but if they do, I can simple clip them out. This tool saves me a lot of time when I'm making a lot of bows because I can put them on the template, quickly tack them and take them off the template. I tack a whole bunch of them and then I go back and gather them. I can even take the tacked stack with me and gather them while I'm waiting for something. Just thought I would share.

Update: Pictures on post #12 & #13.

That's interesting I have a "basting" (I think it's called) gun for quilting and similar projects. It looks the same I'll have to try it on my bows.

I have one. Got it from Body Wrappers when I worked at the dance store.

I love mine! Would never give it up. You can use the tagging gun inserts from michaels or hobby lobby, they are in the scrapbooking section.
