One more question on starching, do i spray korkers with starch before baking them? I have been baking and then spraying and then drying them with a hair dryer and they are still flimsy!!!

I have heard it done both ways. Sometimes, depending on the ribbon, I don't need to at all. Other times, I just spray away after I put them together and hang upside down to dry...like drying herbs, lol! Actually, they're rather pretty that way!

But some do before baking as well.

HTH!

Isn't that weird how the same chain will not have the same brands? Actually, my Hobby Lobby has it as well, but it is over in the section near the felt. (Which I bought a bunch of just to be crazy...)

I do both. If the bow is large with lots of layers, I will spray them before putting the layers together. But if the bow is small enough, I will spray at the end. Hope that helps
