i read about some people using hairspray, would it have the same results as starch? I like how the hairsprays smells better. TIA! =)

does the starch work if you do not bake them? Do you bake them before you hot glue anything? I have a fear of them falling off the clip if I bake them after attaching!

I haven't tried the oven method, but it sounds promising. Waiting for them to dry is a pain! I glue and put together after starching

yeah, don't make the same mistake I did . I put her elmo clip into the oven to bake and the eyes fell off. .

So, I glue things after the baking process.

yes, it works pretty well. I made these for my DD, she has worn them several times and they are still stiff. We will see how things are 6 months from now .

those are adorable, are those rhinestones? One more question, what did you use to adhere them to the loops?

Yes, they are rhinestones. I used my glue gun. But I noticed that my DD likes to pick them off because they are so "preeettty" --- as she said. I lost 2 rhinestones, so I think I am going to use E6000 next time instead. No way she is gonna take them off then .
