Default New to this and need help deciding on directions

I have been practicing making bows free hand for the past 3 months or so and I am LOVING it. I am doing pretty good so far however I have a lot of trouble deciding on length of ribbon to use and I also have a hard time getting all my loops even. So I wanted to buy some directions I was looking at buying TNT or TOTTS. Anyone have some suggestions for what is the best for a beginner?

I eventually want to get into making stacked/ twisted bows because I LOVE how cute they are. But for now I would be happy with even bows every time.

BTW I am making bows for my 1 yr old daughter and I am also beginning to fill a couple orders for bows from friends. I would eventually like to have a small business since I am a SAHM right now.

Thanks and I would love any advice you could give me as a beginner.

Brenda

People have their own preferences when it comes to the templates/instructions. I think there was a poll recently about which templates people liked.

I have the TNT templates and use them to make pinwheel bows. I haven't used them for anything else yet.

I LOVE the TNT...I can't imagine anything being any easier!! It also includes "formulas" for the stacked bows and just lots of good general bow tips.

I would scour the free section in instructions before buying anything. This site: Free Hair Bow Instructions: hairbow free directions, hair bow business work at home has a ton of information. Good luck and have fun!!
