Ladies!! I have all 3 machines you are talking about (actually I have 2 different Cricuts) I'm not trying to be a know-it-all or anything, I just don't want you to get jipped! Yes, the Cuttlebug is made by ProvoCraft who also makes the Cricut. HOWEVER, ProvoCraft makes 100's of different craft items. If they aren't letting you use your coupon on the Sizzix (made by Ellison) OR the Cuttlebug, then they are going against their own company policies. Here is the corporate office info for you to be able to ask all of your questions. Having of spoken with them before, they will read it directly out of their policy manual if you ask them. Once that happens, go to your local M's. If the cashier doesn't want to take it, ask to speak with the manager. If they don't want to, then let them know you spoke with corporate and what corporate told you.

I personally haven't tried felt. I would think that on a slow setting and with the multi-cut it would be able to.

I have the Sizzix bigkick and it works like a DREAM on fabric AND felt---I can cut up to 4 pieces of felt at a time. Just remember to only use the dies marked "originals"--I think they're the same as the Ellison "thick cuts" too...Anyways, sizzlets or whatever they're called don't work.

I was in Michaels today picking up some ribbon and asked if I could use a coupon on the Sizzix. She said yes. Now, to save up my money and wait for a 50% off coupon (instead of the usual 40%). Yay!!

I don't know if you've tried kijiji or anything like that (classifieds) but I've noticed that alot of people are selling theirs---I guess they're moving on to different machines...you might find a real "steal"

Just to let you know there is a tear shaped die it comes with 4 embossing folders as well for paper. Since the CB is really meant for paper not fabric. I have the tear drop one as well as flower ones. And like I said, I found the CB for 29.99 online cant remember where?

I just started working with felt. I have a sizzix that I have had for years... literally like 4 years with just about all the older dies around 100 of them. I used it yesterday with the felt and it worked GREAT!!! I am so thrilled that I can use it again. I haven't used it much at all since the cricut came out. hahaha
