Wood Burning Tool - How Hot?
Does anyone know how hot the wood burning tool gets? I got a Surebonder Glue Gun Pad because I thought it would work with the wood burning tool. The package says the glue gun pad is heat resistant to 400 degrees. Does the wood burning tool get hotter than that? Or will it work?
Re: Wood Burning Tool - How Hot?
NO it gets TOO HOT!
1. The temperature of the burning tip will heat to between 600 and 900 degrees. It will scorch or burn anything that it contacts including your work area and any pattern papers lying near it. Use a heavy glazed tile or plate for resting the tool when it is not in use.
I say what I want, when I want, no one pays me... Its my opinion take it or leave it
