OK, all these cute felt appliques are making me want one of these machines. From reading posts, looking at HL and Michaels I think I'm going with the sizzix. It says it cuts through leather?
I did see on the michaels website that they won't take their 40% coupon for the cuttlebug machine (maybe all of the machines, not sure)-and I can't find that page again on their site.
My only thing is the cuttlebug's die cuts are so cute (like that fish!)
So... do other die cuts brands work with sizzix machines?

The cropstop.com owner told me that Michael's accepts coupon for the CB? I'm not sure. But, what I do know is that they certainly don't accept coupon for the Cricuts. I'm gonna check out Michael's tomorrow, if, I go..lol....I've been lazy to go anywhere..

As for other dies w/ Sizzix, from what I've read, the answer is yes, but, it needs the converter...

That's probably what it was then. It was late last night that I stumbled upon it. The converter seems to be a must for that machine. I'm pumped though, I found one on craigslist with 30 or so die cuts for only $75.

I've been thinking I needed to update, but I couldn't remember what thread I put it into (let me admit .. I didn't look too hard )
Yeah, I got the Sizzix off craigslist, she had the converter on it ready to go. ($35 for everything) I opted out of the die cuts because I didn't really need the ones she had.
The Sizzix cuts through felt easily. The only die I have bought is the fish one that was shown in this post. (It's a cuttlebug-but with the converter it's super easy)
When I bought the fish I only bought valentines colors of the cheap felt...
So, here's the pink fish that I made.
