Default Stuck in bottle Stiffen Stuff

HELP!!!

I bought the Stiffen Stuff and used it one time. By the next use I could not get it to come out of the bottle. Yep.... I cleaned the top with hot water after first use. So, I dumped most of it into another empty bottle. Same thing, one time use and bottle no longer works!

What is in this stuff??? What can I do to keep the pumper working on the bottle? I have even soaked the top of the bottle in hot water.

What do you do after using this stuff?? I was desperate so I had to just use a Q-tip and rub it on the ribbon.

The first time I used stiffen stuff, i had the same problem. What I found out is if you take the spray cap off and rinse the inside and the outside well you should not have any problems. I am yet to have it get clogged on me since I have been doing this. Hope this helps.

YEAH!! Thanks Sarah, I have plenty of that.

I have to watch you, you keep changing your picture and it throws me off!
However, I do enjoy seeing all the different ones. You both look so happy!!

Thanks again!

Default Totally New @ This - Is Stiffen Stuff Worth It Even w/ a 40% off Coupon?

Hi everyone! I'm totally new to the bow thing. Is the stiffen stuff really worth it or would something else work just as well? I don't want to waste money as I'm trying to keep the costs down as much as possible. I'm going to try to make up as much as I can now during the year so I can sell them during the summer (I work in the school system and won't have any income during the summer).

Thanks for your patience -- I'm sure I"ll have LOTS of question

I bought the mist spray bottle at Walgreens (I also found it at sally). I pure some fabric stiffener in this spray bottle, add water and spray on bows. After use, I just empty the spray bottle, fill with water and spary several time to clean the pump.

Stiffen Stuff does work well (VERY).. I heard alot about bowmakers using starch (diluted w/ water) but I personally, never use starch. Even tho I'm not an online seller, what I used on the bows I've made/make, has to be *right* the first time.
